| On the evening of June 18, 1995, a 21-year-old coed from Tucker, GA was visiting Virginia Beach, VA for her summer break. Jennifer Evans was a promising young woman pursuing a career in medicine, out for a night of dancing and socializing when she happened upon a handsome young Navy SEAL trainee, Dustin Turner. Miss Evans and two of her friends were at The Bayou, a local nightspot, when she met Turner and his SEAL “swim buddy” Billy Joe Brown at approximately 10:30 pm. By 3:00 am her body would be lying in the woods over 50 miles away with her friends frantically searching the parking lot of the club where they had left her with Dustin Turner at 1:00 am.
